Sprint Teams Up with Mayor de Blasio: Free Wi-Fi to 5,000 Public School Kids

Google, Sprint and Mayor de Blasio have teamed up to give the families of 5,000 public school kids free wireless internet access in their homes.

The new program will be administered through the city library system and is open to any household that does not have internet access and has a child enrolled in the public schools.Applicants must also have a fine-free library card to enroll in the new, free internet service provided by Sprint.
